iTunes from Mac uninstalling - how to

In this practice tip, you will learn how to uninstall iTunes from your Mac.

Make sure first of all that iTunes is not currently open. You can also click in the Finder and right-click on "programs". Select "information", to learn the location of the programs. The programs are usually in "/", so in the top folder. Another place should be set, then make a note of this.
  1. The Finder allows you to search programs according to the "Terminal".
  2. If on your Mac the programs do not "/") are located in a different place (i.e., you type "cd" and the Ortspfad, in order to get to this place.
  3. Type the command "sudo rm-rf iTunes.app/" and press the enter key.
  4. Now you have to enter your Admin password. iTunes is now removed from your Mac.
