Folder-images "Img2icns" design
With the free program "Img2icns" to develop your own Icons from your favorite images, and then subsequently as a folder of images to use.
- Visit the Website of the program and click the top right "Download".
- Once you have started the program, drag and drop the desired image on the surface marked with the inscription "graphics drop".
- Now select the Symbol "icns" and then the desired location.
- Now you have designed your Icon, you can add in the next step the desired folder.

The "Img2icns" created Icons you need to add the desired folders. You will need to provide a separate window, the created Icon for editing.
- Select the desired folder, the you with a want to edit.
- Press right-click on the folder and select the Option "information". Alternatively, you can open the Info-menu in the selected folder with the key command "CMD + I".
- In the upper area of the window, you see the folder icon and the folder name. In our example this is the folder Name "Chip tips". Now drag the "Img2icns" created Icon, just click this little folder icon, and your folder has a new look.
