Apple Mail: Filter - how to

With Apple Mail you can create filters to your E-sort mail or forward. We will show you how to Filter can set up.

Filters in Apple Mail set up

By creating filters, you can create new E-move emails in the appropriate folder, or forward.
  1. Open Apple Mail on your Mac.
  2. Click in the top bar, click "Mail" and then click "settings".
  3. In the menu "rules" create and edit your own filters. First, click on "add rule".
  4. You can now set the options for your first Filter: In the description box, type a name for the Filter. In the first option box, you determine which criteria the Filter is on. In the second option field is used to specify what should happen with the E-Mails.
  5. Confirm your Filter by clicking on "OK". From now on, all new E will be sorted-Mails automatically according to your Filter. You can set up as many filters.
