iOS: WhatsApp Spam block and report
On the iPhone, do the following:
- Open WhatsApp and tap on the Chat whose sender you want to block as Spam and report it.
- Tap the top of the number of the sender.
- Scroll to the bottom. Here you can see the options "contact block" and "report Spam".
- Tap "report Spam", is blocked by the contact, and as Spam on WhatsApp reported.
- Tap on "block contact", you can block the contact or the contact block and report as Spam.

Android: WhatsApp-block Spam and report it
On the Android phone, you can block unknown contacts even easier and report as Spam:
- Open WhatsApp and tap on the corresponding Chat.
- You will now see two options: "report Spam and block" or "this is Not Spam. Add to contacts".
