New Text Status in WhatsApp UPDATE
- WhatsApp is currently testing a new Status in the Text Format. Instead of images, you can now add text and Emojis on a solid color Background to your for 24 hours visible Status.
- Currently, however, only in the Beta Version of WhatsApp is possible. This is only available for Android users. You can find the Option in the top menu bar between the categories of "Chats" and "calls".
WhatsApp: the new Status works
What with the competition from Snapchat works, is now also on WhatsApp. It is a new Status function, which consists of images. In the menu you will find besides the well-known categories such as "Chats" and "settings" the item "Status".
- On the Plus-Button, the camera will open. Now you can shoot a photo or record a Video, the Whole case needs a little edit, and then add your Status.
- Your Status remains for 24 hours for all of your contacts visible. Will then created a second Status, it is appended to the first Status.
- In the category of "Status" you will find a list of your WhatsApp friends who have currently published a Status. Tap the desired contact, simply to see the Status.
- Tip: In the category of "settings" you will find in addition a function, with the specific contacts of your Status can be ruled out. This is especially distant Acquaintances or work colleagues makes sense.
