Threema Account via the Smartphone delete
The Smartphone App Threema is becoming more and more popular. To delete the Account, you need to remove your personal ID.
- Open Threema on your Smartphone and call on the top left of the menu.
- Tap the very top on "My Threema-ID" (Android) or "My ID" (iOS).
- Scroll down to the Option "delete ID".
- After you start Threema, you can create a new ID or restore a Backup.
- You have logged in on other devices with the previous ID, you must delete them there also.

Smartphone way: Threema account on a Computer delete
You have lost your Smartphone, you can remove your Threema Account from the Computer.
- Have you lost your phone or no longer have access to it, you can about the Threema website link with your phone number, cancel the account, therefore, useless to make.
- For this you need to have previously defined a revocation password. This is "your ID" > "ID-revocation" (Android), "My ID" > "ID-revocation password" (iOS) or "My Threema-ID" > "ID-revocation" (Windows Phone).
- You have not set the password and also with any other device access to your ID, you cannot delete the account.
- If you have not logged in with your ID, three months, it will be deactivated automatically.
