The Exterior: The new Pebble Smartwatches as an Eye-Catcher?
The new Pebble Time is available in two versions: With plastic and metal housing. In comparison to the previous model, and has changed a lot:
- The classic Pebble Time appears in black, white and red. The Pebble Time Steel will get you in fine gold, silver or black.

Software and Apps: Smart watches or useless Hardware?

- The new Pebble Smartwatches are with iPhones and iPad from iOS 8 compatible. Owners of Android-Smartphones will need at least Android 4.0.
- In the built-in App store, you can already find over 6,500 optimized applications. All of the Apps that worked on the old Smartwatch will also run on the new models. The Software Kit for developers will want to drill out the Pebble, too, so that constantly new Apps appear.
- In addition to the App offer, of course also the operating system. Here, the Pebble is a completely new way, and puts the calendar in the foreground.
