Unlocking the SIM card at O2
The lock on the SIM card applies only for calls, not for mobile data. You have a new SIM card, but you need the SIM to activate instead of unlock.
- You will have the SIM-card online at My O2 locked, you can there in the same place, again to unlock.
- Should this not work, contact them via Hotline or Chat to the customer service of O2. The employees of O2 can be unlock also.
- Note that the Unlock of the SIM card can take up to 5 minutes. In individual cases, it can be a little more minutes.
- The SIM card remains inactive for a long time, turn your Smartphone completely off and on again.
