WhatsApp-Account transferred to the new number
With a new Smartphone and a new phone number, you need to install WhatsApp in a new and set up. Your Account of the previous number, you can transfer it easily. Here's how:
- Open WhatsApp on your new device and tap the Overflow menu on the top right.
- Select "Settings" > "Account".
- Tap "New number".
- In the information window, tap the top right on "Next".
- Then, fill in the top line of your old number, and in the bottom line your new number and confirm the entry.
- Payment status, profile, contacts, and conversations will be transferred to the new number. For the old number, the Account will be deleted.
