iPhones with Dual SIM: iPhone XS iPhone XS Max
The iPhone XS , as well as the iPhone XS Max both feature Dual SIM, as a combination of a physical Nano-SIM and a eSIM ("e" stands for embedded, "embedded"). It is, therefore, permanently installed in the device, and must not, be like a normal SIM card, a plastic chip out and the device inserted is broken.
- The eSIM must be supported by the mobile operator and only after a Update of the iPhones to iOS 12.1 (or later) to use.
- Telekom and Vodafone have already announced that the eSIM support. Later on O2 will follow suit.
- Discount providers have yet to support, no tariffs, the eSIM.
iPhone with Dual SIM: So you can just upgrade your iPhone
- To the iPhone XS iPhone had a SIM card slot, so you can actually use any other SIM card.
- However, there are Dual SIM adapters for the iPhone, with which you also have a second SIM card can use.
