Google Hangouts: So you are on the phone with the App
Through Google Hangout you can make phone calls over Wi-Fi or the mobile data network. Calls to the U.S. and Canada are free of charge. Calls within Germany will only cost one to three cents. Calls on the Smartphones of other Hangout contacts are also free of charge.
- iOS: In the Hangouts App below on the right, the category of "calls". Tap the top right of the number block, you can call telephone numbers or contacts. A Hangout contact you can call on the Chat.
- Android: On an Android Smartphone, you'll need not only the Hangouts App, but also the Hangouts Dialer. Here you can type in the desired numbers and call. Hangout, contacts, call via the Chat.
