FaceTime not ringing – what you can do
- Make sure that your device is properly connected to the Wi-Fi network.
- Note: In the settings of FaceTime, you can specify your Apple ID. Note that you should only use a device with an ID.
- In addition, you should make sure in the "settings" of your iPhone, that you've activated FaceTime.
- Is there "Waiting for activation" is displayed, turn off FaceTime and turn it on again.
- In some cases, this can be disabled in the settings under "General" > "restrictions" calls or ringing. Be sure that this is not the case.
- In order for VoIP telephony to work, it must be set to the correct time and the correct date.
- You can also try your iOS device to restart or check for available Updates.
