Since the latest Update you can send with the Facebook Messenger for Android and iOS files from your Dropbox to your friends. Exactly how this works, we tell in this article.

So you can use the new Feature of Facebook messenger, you need to bring your App up-to-date. In separate articles we will show how the Android and on the iPhone/iPad works. You can then associate the Messenger with your Dropbox account and files send.

1. First, install the Dropbox App for Android or iOS on your Smartphone and log in to your Account.
2. Then restart the Facebook Messenger.
3. Open the desired Chat and tap right below the tab "More".
4. It is a small menu in which you will see the Dropbox Icon opens. Tap on it and select the desired file from your Dropbox.
5. Then the file in the Chat window will appear and will automatically be sent to her. Currently this only works with photos, Videos, and GIF files.
