The phone number to Base take: These are the things you need to consider
To be able to Base, you take the case of a contract exchange of your old phone number. For this you need to take note of the following steps:
- You can order all the Base contract of your choice. You will then receive a SIM card with a temporary phone number and a request form for number portability.
- This form will send you immediately to the Base customer service back, which then takes care of the Rest for you.
- You make sure that your details match exactly with the data from your previous provider. Check the data on the form, therefore, with, for example, on a current Letter from the previous provider.
- In the case of Prepaid cards, no data may be available. Then contact your current provider in the contact and behind the correct data set.
- The order for number portability must be received within 90 days after the end of the contract at the Base, otherwise the number may not be taken.
- The old contract is still running but you want to now use the number in Base with your previous provider, that he should give the number free. This needs to happen in the rule in writing and needs no extensive explanation.
- Note: most of the time number portability is the same for both sides free of charge, however, contracts to Prepaid is often the old provider additional cost. Please inform yourself before you submit your application.
