Amazon Echo: Alexa set up – so go ahead
- First download the Amazon Echo App for Android or iPhone down.
- Turn on Echo, and then make sure that Wi-Fi is turned on.
- Now open up the Alexa-App on your Smartphone and tap on your device.
- Select "wireless update" and press and hold the action button to Echo for five seconds until the light ring will change to orange.
- On the Smartphone, you need to select the appropriate Wi-Fi network and enter the network password (if available).
- Go back to the home screen of the App and tap on "Alexa personalize". Select set up, then, "A new device".
- From there you can select your device and then follow the wizard to the establishment of Alexa complete.
