Log on to YouTube: The most important step to your own Channel
To create a YouTube Channel, of course you need an Account on the Video-platform:
- On the YouTube site and enter "Register" for the registration form. Here you can login directly with your Google account, if you already have one.

You have created your YouTube account, you can make now to your Channel:
- Click on the YouTube homepage at the very top left on "My channel". Alternatively, you can also youtube.com/user control.
- What you see now, is your newly created YouTube channel, which should still be pretty naked.
- You add with a click on "channel image, a matching photo add". The recommended size will be displayed during the Upload. With a click on the upper-right corner of your profile picture, this can also change or add.
- Click on the Gear next to "Subscribe" to the privacy settings and the channel layout to adapt.
- Select "channel description and required provider information," to make others on your channel and to gain new subscribers.
- In the lower field first video then upload and create Playlists. Depending on your settings, these are public, just for you, or certain people.
- You can also add the Channel a "channel Trailer" on your (later) Video Uploads, which is then displayed as a large Teaser Video on their YouTube Channel.
