Xing-read receipt for messages off
If you send over the network by Xing messages to other members, you will receive a note once it has been read by the recipient. You do not want this you can turn off this feature in the privacy settings:
- Open the privacy settings in your Browser and login with your Xing user name and your password, if you haven't already.
- Click in the area of "news" on the "edit" Button and remove the checkmark next to "read receipts".
- Confirm the Change with the Save Button. You get from now on, no read receipts, and more. Keep in mind, however, that you can see whether your messages were actually read.
