A Wordpress menu is created quickly. Depending on the Theme you can change the menu according to your Wishes:
- Log in to the Admin area of your Wordpress Page.
- Click on "Design" and then on "menus".
- You are now in the menu settings. Many Themes offer preset menus, such as, for example, the "Social Links menu".
- In the top bar you will find in addition to these predefined menu also the Link "create a new menu". Click with the left mouse button on this Link.
- Give the menu a unique name such as "main navigation".
- Then, you decide which points are to be added to your new menu. To select specific items, entire categories, or even pages, for example. Also a link Back to the home page is possible.
- Make sure that a menu is intended to help the User to your Homepage, find your way around. Nest, therefore, your menu is not unnecessarily and limit yourself to essential Links.
