Spam: A Definition
- Definition: Spam mainly refers to unwanted messages sent via the Internet. However, there are different types of Spam:
- E-Mail: The best known and most responsible for the Spam e-Mail is. It is shipped in bulk and usually include advertising, which should lead to the Opening of a site or the purchase of a product (see image). Often Spam e-Mails have a file attachment to be opened under a false pretext, and then a Virus on the Computer transferred.
- Advertising: As a Spam also advertising banners on the Websites referred to. Especially on dubious sites on the net, you can trigger with just one click an avalanche of Pop-ups.
- Forums: Older than the Spam Mail, the Spam in the forums. Since a large audience is available, users post in the comments of forums, advertisements, and Links to Websites that promote or earn money. Such comments will be deleted again.
