What Captcha means?
- Classic Captchas consist of randomly arranged numbers and letters which can be displayed to the user.
- The abbreviation CAPTCHA stands for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart" - free Test translated: "to distinguish between human and machine".
- Captchas are used to test whether, for example, a form of a human or a Computer was filled out. In some cases computers ("Bots") are applied to make in abuse of the automatic entries on a page.
- The Captchas are to read for people relatively easily, for computers, this is usually impossible, since the letters and Numbers are distorted, so that systems can't read.
- Captchas can consist of Numbers, words and letters that must be typed in an input field. In addition, they should also partly resolve computing problems and enter the results. Also accessible Captchas, where certain symbols need to click, and thus "human intelligence" evidence.
