Unity Media or Kabel Deutschland Internet provider in comparison

The choice of cable providers is limited. Whether you should choose cable Germany, or rather, Unity Media, we will show you in this practical tip.

Kabel Deutschland: Cheap and quick Internet, but not everywhere

Kabel Deutschland belongs to the Vodafone group and offers Internet, telephone and television via cable connection:

Kabel Deutschland are four rates to choose from, the price and the transfer speed differ. All contracts have a term of 24 months.
The cheapest Tariff offers 10 Mbit/s in Download. This is slower than ordinary DSL (16 Mbps), costs but in the first six months for only 9,99 Euro, then EUR 19.99. Compare the transmission rate, here, with your current Internet speed. A fixed flat rate is not included in the price, but for 5 euros per month to book.
For 19.99 Euro in the first two years and then 29.99 Euro and you get a 25 Mbit/s and a fixed-network Flat. Since the contract expires in two years, you can cancel before the price goes up and after a better look.
If you want faster surfing, choose the contract with 50 Mbit/s and landline-Flat for 19.99 Euro in the first year, in the second year, the fast connection will cost 34,99 Euro.
Super fast Internet with 6 times DSL speed for 19.99 Euro in the first year. Then you have to pay 39.99 euros for the luxury.
Cable Germany has cheap, fast rates on offer. But you have to be to the cable network connected. If cable is available at your address, you can go here.
You should be aware that the Download speeds are convincing, the Upload speeds leave much to be desired but for the rest: There are between 0.6 Mbit/s on the cheapest contract and 6 Mbit/s at the fastest available.

Unity Media offers Internet via cable connection.

At Unity Media, you can choose between three Tariffs, with different speeds to choose from. All contracts have a 24 months term. A phone is not Flat included.
"Internet 10" costs 18 Euro per month and offers 10 Mbit/s Down and 1 Mbit/s in Upload.
"Internet 50" offers up to 50 Mbit/s download rate and 2.5 Mbit/s Upload and it costs 23 euros a month.
Finally, there is also at Unity Media, the super-fast Internet: "Internet 100" costs 30 euros per month, at speeds of 100 Mbit/s Down and 5 Mbit/s in Upload.
In addition to the pure Internet tariffs, Unity Media also offers so-called 2play rates. These include fixed-network flat and the Internet:
2play smart costs 20 euros per month and offers 10 Mbit/s Download, 1 Mbit/s in Upload.
With 2play Plus you can surf in the first year, for 25 euros per month with 120 Mbit/s. Upload speed of 6 Mbit/s. In the second year of the Collective costs 35 Euro.
It's even faster with 2play Premium 200 Mbit/s in Download with this rate in, 10 Mbit/s in Upload.
