What is the Unicode?
- The Unicode is important for the text entry to pretty much any Computer, any Smartphone and any Tablet.
- It is an internationally common Code that is considered to be permanent default for all fonts and character systems of all known writing cultures. There are in addition to the Unicode and many other code, which is not, however, capture all of the characters.
- Ultimately, to be in Unicode, all of the known characters in a single character set. The Unicode is so far the only project that had success with it.
- Without the Unicode, there is no way to back up data with various national character sets to display.
- A character set controls the representation of text characters in the Form of binary Numbers, showing which Byte is value as which characters. You can imagine the characters as the huge table, which assigns each character a unique number.
- The Code is constantly being screwed on and New added - so even Emojis.
- Emojis have since October 2010 been an integral part of the Unicodes; in June 2017 56 new Smileys there, for example.
The Unicode consortium decides on Emojis
A consortium is determined by the available Emojis

- The consortium works closely with the International organization for standardization (ISO).

- Joining the Unicode consortium is open globally to all, provided that the applicant can pay the member contribution and the goals of the organization wants to use.
