The Same or the same - where is the difference
- "The Same" is used when an object resembles another. For example, Tim has a pink bike with unicorns. When Tom says "I have the same bike," he says that his bike looks the same and has all of the features are the same. Each of them has its own bike.
- The "same" is used, if it is one and the same object. When Tom saw that he had the same bike, he says, that Tim and Tom share this bike.
- In order for you to use in a conversation always be the correct term, you can remember a simple mnemonic: "The Same thing" use, if an object is not equal to one another, however, it is the same object.
