Gmail: So Smart Reply works
In the Smartphone App of Gmail Smart Reply was for several months. In the meantime, it has managed the function in the Browser Version for the PC.
- You will receive a Mail, you will see below, some of the answer choices. Select the desired response, it is sent directly to the sender.
- Google analyzes the content of the Mail and is therefore seeking the most appropriate answers to propose. The answers are usually short and tight, but often quite reasonable.

- Your Mails are already on Google's servers and are analyzed for the detection of Spam e-Mails. The privacy policy does not suffer from this function.

While the function is activated in the Smartphone App already, you need to create in the Desktop Version of himself.
- Smartphone: Open the Gmail App on your phone and select the top left in the menu "settings". Tap your e-Mail address and uncheck the Option "Intelligent response".
- PC: Open the website of Gmail from the top right corner, click the Gear icon. In the "settings" switch up to the "Advanced" category. Uncheck the Option "reply templates".
