Before shipping Open Amazon orders directly to cancel
At Amazon, you can cancel individual items as well as all orders, provided they have not been shipped by Amazon or one of the connected dealer.
- Click on "My account" on the Amazon page.
- Select the "My orders" to see your recent purchases list.
- Click to the right of the open order, on the Button "cancel".
- Follow the instructions to cancel the order. You should have already paid, will refund Amazon the money within a few days.

After delivery: Unwanted item return
Amazon gives you for each order, a 30-day right of return. During this time, you can send your failed purchases without a lot of hassle:
- Open also here is the Amazon page and click on "My account".
- Click on the Button "item to return or replace".
- Now select the mistakenly purchased product. Select "reason for return", then "order mistakenly placed" (see Screenshot).
- You can then print out a return slip. Stick the note on your package and send it back to Amazon. After a few days you get back your money.
- The cost for the return shipping, Amazon does not like it when the returned item exceeds 40 Euro and you have to cancel the purchase within 14 days of receipt. Clothing and handbags the return shipment within 14 days for free.

For some products the right of withdrawal does not apply. These items can only be returned if they have a deficiency:
- Goods which are not suitable for reasons of hygiene, to return.
- Sealed audio or video recordings
- Articles that were specially made for you.
- Perishable items, such as food
- Printing products, such as magazines or Illustrated
- Alcoholic drinks, which could only be 30 days after order delivered and for which the price is subject to fluctuations.
