Instagram-privacy: display posts only for approved Followers
So your photos and Videos on Instagram private, you can enable a feature that allows you to confirm Followers. Thus, only approved people can see your posts. However, this is also the only privacy setting on the Instagram ready.
- You can open on your iOS device or Android Smartphone with the Instagram App.
- Click the bottom right of the screen on the icon with the card.
- Next to your profile image you will find the Button "edit your profile".
- Scroll down and enable the "posts are private".
- New Followers will now have to be confirmed. Existing subscribers are not affected. For the Public your profile is locked now. They can find you just about your user name or your E-Mail address and will only see your profile picture.
