Forgotten Admin password of OwnCloud reset
In the case of OwnCloud to save files in the private Cloud. So, you can reset the forgotten Admin password:
- To reset the password, you need access to the database via phpMyAdmin. Please log in with your access data.
- Open the database of ownCloud and look for the table "oc_users".
- In this table, all users of the Cloud are listed. Here, search for the Admin Account.
- Then left click the pencil icon to edit the entry.
- Next to the field "Password" you need to select "SHA1" from the drop-down menu, so that the password is converted into the so-called "Hashtext". Then, enter in the value field of the any password and save it with "OK".
- Now, you have to log in with this password. You can then change it as usual.
