Answering machine in the Fritz box set
- Open the user interface fritz.box and log in with your password.
- Click on the left menu, under "telephony" to the point "answering machine".
- Click setup at the top right on the blue Link "answering machine", you can access the configuration.
- First, select whether you want to simply play a greeting or the caller to a message recording want (see image). Then, if the answering machine start immediately or after how many seconds he has his work should take. You can specify a maximum recording length, enter a name for the answering machine and click on "Next".
- In the next step, you can choose which phone numbers and the answering machine should be activated. Select either all or just some of the numbers and click again on "Next".
- Then click on "Apply" is activated the answering machine.

- Select the "personal OGM", you can click on the Button "file" to select and upload an audio file to serve as your answering machine. You have selected a file, click on "OK".
- You want to record yourself a message, select the phone **600. Press 4 to enter the greetings menu. For a Welcome message, select the 1, for a Note of the message 2, for a conclusion of the 3 announcement. Then select the 8, to start the recording.
