So you use Ok Google when the screen is off
With Google Assistant, you can set a Timer to a date to be reminded, and much more. You don't need to take your mobile phone in the Hand. The language wizard when the screen is off, you must enable the corresponding Option in the settings.
- Open the Google App and navigate to the settings.
- At the very top you find the menu for your Google Assistant. You can also go here to settings.
- If you have the Google Assistant, which is not yet enabled, you can use the Option "Google Assistant" enable catch up.
- Including the Option that you can enable the Google Assistant with your voice is. Under "Voice Match access" Google stores your voice profile, in order to respond appropriately.
- Next, select your Smartphone and select the Option "With a Voice Match to unlock". Then confirm the settings with either your PIN or your fingerprint. In the small window Google tells you explicitly the uncertainties of this Option.

Risks of voice activation
Google explicitly points out, that your phone can be unlocked by activating this function, even from other people.
- So both have a similar voice as well as a recording of your voice can unlock your mobile device.
