NAS with Wi-Fi: How does it work?
- You can retrofit the Wi-Fi, if your NAS has a USB port.
- You have to use a USB Wi-Fi antenna, you just plug into the USB port.
- In most of the settings of the NAS, you can set the Wi-Fi settings.
- Often, you need to enable the advanced options. In the manual of your NAS, you can find more information on whether this is possible.
- You can then choose in the settings whether the Server connect to a Wi-Fi, as its own Wi-Fi Router function or as an Access Point is to be set up.
- Depending on the NAS the settings for Wi-Fi may vary.
