iCloud spam filter set up - how to properly

In order to protect yourself from unwanted E-Mails, you can set up the iCloud spam filter. You'll learn in this hands-on advice on how to do this.

Spam filter in iCloud – you need to do

Unwanted mail can be annoying - sometimes even a Virus or Malware-even. By a spam filter, you can protect yourself from it.
  • In iCloud there is already a default Spam Filter that tries unwanted E-block e-Mails.
  • However, it is often, however, promotional E-Mails to land in your mailbox.
  • This is the case, open the Mail and click on the flag icon. Select "In advertising to move". Alternatively, you can drag and drop the Mail in the junk folder.
  • Thus, all E-Mail will be blocked addresses, as soon as they are landed in the junk folder.
  • If you want to block a specific E-Mail address, click on "settings" and then "rules". Then enter the respective E-Mail address.
  • Set it up so that E-Mails from the specified address will be directly moved to the junk folder.
  • In order to improve the protection further, you can forward all advertising or Spam e - mails "spam@icloud.com" more.
  • Thus, they also help to improve the spam filter so that the number of hits is increased rate.
