The difference between the two cells to calculate - how it works with Google spreadsheets
There are numerous application examples, for which it is useful to make differences between the two cells in Google spreadsheets automatically calculate. All you need is a short and easy-to-remember formula:
- You write the two values that you want to charge to each other, into two individual cells of the table (see picture).
- From a third field, in which the difference is to appear.
- Type in the forms "=B3-C3" (without the quotation marks). The values of B3 and C3, replace by the name of cells in which the two values are.
- Press [Enter]. The Google spreadsheet now displays the difference between the two values.

Formula: Difference-Calculation
If you don't want to have to search each time the coordinates of the cells, you can simply click on when you Enter the formula in the appropriate cells. You, like in the example image, to calculate several differences that you should consider after entering the small square in the lower right corner of the cell down. This will be calculated in the other fields, the differences automatically.
