Behind a Hashtag
- The word "Hashtag" is formed from the English "hash" for the characters double cross/hash sign (#) and "tag" for marking.
- The Hashtag comes usually at the end of a sentence, for example, #chip.
- Thus, a link is created, which all of the posts lists that include the term "#chip".
- In the case of Twitter, find Hashtags often use to make a statement in a particular context to put.
- An example of such a Tweet: "Chip informed you about the new iPhone #iphone #apple #chip"
- As soon as this Hashtag is widely used, it will be listed in the list of Trends (see image).
- Hashtags are also used in other social networks you use, for example, in the case of Instagram as a caption, or in the case of Facebook.
