If you search have changed the language of the Google-accidentally, you can change this in the search settings to "English". So you can use the search engine as usual.

In General Google recognizes your location based on your IP address and your Browser settings, then to the German Google page forward. Some programs may, however, prevent Google from accessing your IP and all your settings. In such cases, a default language is then set to:
