Performance: "Google Flights" significantly faster than "Swoodoo"
If time were money, then Google Flights would be definitely the better choice:
- On Google Flights will display the flights directly.
- All Changes in the flight search (e.g. date) are implemented within a second and you get a new set-up cheaper flights.
- However, the flight will take a search at "Swoodoo" sometimes 20 seconds or longer.

Prices: "Swoodoo" is in the Test cheaper than Google
We have tested for you the prices of the "Google Flights" and "Swoodoo" to a total of 20 routes. It Swoodoo had "" with 15 Offered the cheapest flight, or at least the same price as "Google Flights". The newcomer managed to Test only on 11 lower rates (or for the same price).

"Google Flights" in the Fuel? The cheapest plane...
...you will find not always at the search engine giant. But why? In our Test, there are mainly two reasons for this:
- Google Flights lists some of the cheap Airlines such as "EasyJet" not at all, or only with the indication of "price unknown". For example, on the track "Berlin - Paris" is a difference in price of 61 euros, more than Double the fare of the "EasyJet".
- Additionally, the approaches of the two vendors differ. "Swoodoo" provides almost all the results of other flight portals such as "airline-direct" and "Expedia".
- The flight search of "Google" gets the prices directly from the airlines. Not always, Google Flights is"", therefore the cheapest.
Conclusion: this is A flight search is not enough
Our Test was able to win "Swoodoo", but the closeness of the result shows: it is Not always the winner of the rapid test is also the cheapest flights, for some queries, Google was cheaper. Therefore, you should use both, or a third-party, in order to save a Euro or two.
