Hotmail set up in Outlook
In newer E-Mail programs, you will be supported when Setting up the accounts. The data for IMAP, POP3, or SMTP Server are automatically obtained. First, start Microsoft Outlook.
- On the tab "file" you will be directed to your account information. Here, click on the "add account"button.
- In the next window, enter a name for your Hotmail account. Enter the access data. In the case of Hotmail, the user name is always your full e-Mail address. Now click on "OK".
- In the following window, Outlook checks your login data and the server retrieves information. This is completed successfully, click "Finish".
GMX-mail account set up
For confirmation you will receive a test message. This is sent during auto-configuration. Your GMX mail account is successfully set up.
In our tip we used Microsoft Outlook 2010. Other versions can result in different approach.
