Geolocation in Firefox, switch off
Geolocation is most often used by Websites such as Google Maps or weather forecasts, and must be approved by them for each site individually on request. Your location is determined only very inaccurate. Nevertheless, this is a lot of users the creeps. Moreover, it is not sure whether dubious services can handle the query.
- Open Firefox and type in the address bar "about:config".
