Firefox-export bookmarks - how to

Firefox offers you a simple function to export bookmarks. This is necessary if you want to access e.g. on a different PC or a different Browser on the same Bookmarks.

Export bookmarks in Firefox

  • You can open the menu with the orange Firefox Button on the top left corner of your Browser.
  • Click in the right column of the menu on "bookmarks" and then on "bookmarks menu"
  • Now you can save one or more bookmarks, highlight and then click on "Import and >Secure bookmarks export to HTML" as an HTML document.
  • To import bookmarks in a different Firefox Browser, open the bookmarks Manager, as in the first two steps, and then click "Import and Backup >bookmarks HTML import" to open the just created HTML-document.
