Firefox 29 new Design
Firefox in Version 29 and in the new Australis Design, which is reminiscent of Google Chrome.
- The Tabs are now provided with rounded corners, and open with a smooth Animation. Inactive tabs are displayed without a frame, while the active Tab is highlighted.
- In Firefox 29 the Firefox removed-Button in the upper left corner and a menu icon on the right side replaced. Here you will find instead of a list now larger and clear sub-points. The menu can be changed by clicking "Customize" according to your ideas individually optimize.
- Right click next to a Tab, you can unhide the menu bar at the request of the head of the browser.
- The star icon for bookmarks has been resolved from the address bar and a little further to the right. On the bookmark icon you will find all the saved pages in the Overview.
Firefox 29 with improved synchronization
The synchronization service, Firefox Sync has been revamped in Version 29 basic. The Details:
- For Firefox Sync, you must create a new account - existing Accounts can no longer use. You can then add all of the devices you want to synchronize.
- You determine by means of a Checkbox, which content is to be matched. So, among other things, Tabs, bookmarks, passwords, and Add let-ons to sync.
- In Firefox Sync, you need no recovery key more.
No Add-on bar in Firefox 29
The Add-on bar at the bottom of the Firefox browser is missing in the Version of 29 completely.
- Previously, Add-ons, including shortcuts, and other items in the Add could take-on bar, as well as to view the information, for example, to the charging time .
- Caution: the removal of the Add-on bar are some of the Add-ons with Firefox.
The new Australis Design, however, is not for everyone. Fortunately, you can use the old Firefox look restore, including the Add-on bar.
