You can use your Amazon Fire TV and a PS3 Controller as a remote control. We will show you in this practice tip, exactly how this works.

Fire TV with a PS3 Controller – so it works

First download the Sixaxis Pair Tool on your PC and install it.
Then connect using the USB cable the Controller to the PC and let Sixaxis running in the Background.
Wait until the drivers are installed and the MAC address of the controller is displayed.
Go to the Appstore on your Fire TV and search for the App "Sixaxis Controller". You install this.
Then start the App on the Fire TV and enable the Option "Enable Joystick" under "Settings" > "Joystick".
There, you should be the local address of your Fire TV. In order to establish a connection, enter this address in the Sixaxis Pair Tool on your PC and then turn on the Controller.

yeah, the sixaxis app doesnt exist for the firetvstick. What a BS article.
