Facebook chat archive in the Browser
- Log in to Facebook and go to the main news page.
- You move the mouse pointer over the Chat that you want to archive.
- Then a small "x"appears.
- If you go with the mouse pointer over the "x", the Option "Archive".
- As soon as you click, it will be archived in the chat history.

- Launch the Messenger App of Facebook.
- Tap the bottom tab to "Current".
- In your message list you are looking for the Chat you wish to archive.
- On the left side you will see the contacts that have sent you messages.
- You wipe here, from right to left on the contact to open a menu.
- Tap on the entry "More".
- Then tap on "Archive".
