Facebook Chat disable
- Visit the Facebook Website and log in.
- Right click at the bottom of the Chat bar, click the Gear icon.
- Then you need to select the "disable Chat". You will be contacted after you Disable via Chat, the messages in your mailbox for private messages.
- In the same way, you can activate the Chat again.

Tip: If you only want to appear for individuals "online" in the Chat, click on the "Advanced Chat settings". In the following window you can choose whether certain persons should be excluded from the Chat. Alternatively, you can select the people that you see in active Chat. For all others they are invisible.
