Facebook: Desktop-notifications-to-mute - so it goes

Since a short time, Facebook notifications on Google Chrome will appear on your Desktop. The social network allows you to mute, if you don't want to use the new Feature. We will show you how to do this.

  1. Open Facebook in Google Chrome and log in to your Account.
  2. Then right click at the top on the globe to open your notifications.

  2. In the drop-down menu, select the entry "settings". Now a new Tab opens.
  3. You scroll down a bit and click on "Advanced" to get all the settings displayed.
  4. In the section "security and privacy" click "content settings" and then "notifications".
  5. Now you can choose whether to block all notifications, or only to certain websites. Here you can enter Facebook in the list of blocked pages.
