Very simple and always applicable: The Chat-contents, highlight and right click copy (Shortcut: Ctrl+C). Then in a text document, e.g. Word or OpenOffice paste (Shortcut: Ctrl+V).
2. Chat history Screenshot save
With shorter chat histories is also a Screenshot with the [print] key. This copies the screen Image to the clipboard and can paste it in Word, OpenOffice, and image editing programs. The advantage is That the Original Design remains intact. Disadvantage: blocks of text can not be copied.
1. Firefox Add-On: Facebook Chat History Manager
- The free Add-On "FB Chat History Manager" allows you to for Firefox install and then click Chat history save.
- To do this, you will need to register however, and prior to each use to log on. After logging in, clicking on "View History" and you can select the Chat to Download.
