Ebay: How long the buyer may make a claim?

To file a complaint with Ebay, an article, or to complain, you must abide by as a buyer, certain deadlines. We explain how long you can claim and how to proceed.

1. Step: contact the dealer

An article differs from the Ebay description or was not supplied the product once, you should get a refund for the order immediately to the shipper:
  1. First, with the dealer contact through the "report a Problem" on. In some cases, a Problem can be solved. For example, if you want to send back the article and refund your choice (see picture).
  2. Thus, the claim under the Ebay buyer protection is expiring, you must file a claim within 45 days from the payment date.
  3. The dealer logs in, normally within 48 hours. The problem should take solution for longer than 10 days, you can pass directly to Ebay: "the case to eBay customer service".

2. Case to the Ebay customer service passed

  1. You are forwarding the complaint to the customer service, you need to also observe a period of time: you should not wait longer than 30 days, otherwise the Support might deny your request.
  2. Within 48 hours, Ebay will review your request and be refunded in case of not supplied or from the product different articles of the purchase price.
  3. The article of the description differs, you will receive from the dealer, or the Ebay Support a return-ticket.
