Chromecast Jailbreak: how to install Kodi
- First download the Apps Kodi, ES file Explorer, LocalCast , and this XML-file on your Smartphone.
- Then start the ES file Explorer and enable in the "settings" the item "Hidden files visible".
- Now you can open the Kodi App and establish a connection to the Kodi Media Center, open the App.
- In the following, copy the XML file in the folder "Android" > "Data", > "org.xbmc.kodi" > "Files" > ".kodi" > "userdata".
- Start now Kodi, and search for the Video you want to stream via Chromecast.
- In the Background automatically if you open the App. Select "LocalCast" if you are asked how you want the Video to be opened.
- Now select the Chromecast, the Video will be streamed.
