site: Only certain pages or languages browse
Especially if you are looking for English or Latin terms, do not land it often on German Websites. To the Website or the regional limit, you can use the command "site:".
- Are you looking for, for example, according to the "World Trade Center", you can only search results from German Websites ads, by appending a search for "site:de". The search phrase is: "the World Trade Center site:de".
- You can also search only on certain pages. To do this, you just add the main URL of the site - for example, "site:www.chip.de".
ext: Google-search for specific file types
Are you in search of Word-, Powerpoint - or PDF-files, you can take that into account in your search:
- For example, to get a presentation about coral reefs, you type "coral reefs ext:ppt".
- Alternatively, the command "ext:" you can use "filetype:". The is a little longer, to remember, and for some people, but better.
From..to: price range of products eingrezen
You are looking for products and their prices, you can narrow down the price range. To do this, you need to put between the two Numbers, two points:
- For example, enter "MacBook 1000..1100 Euro", you will only receive offers that are in this price range.
link: pages, find the other references
On the command "link:" find sites that link to specific pages or words. As you can see, for example, who has links to your Homepage:
- Enter "link: chip.de" you will find all the sites linking to our page.
