Bing: on the left, according to the European court of justice delete
The European court of justice (ECJ) has on 13. May 2014 ruled that Google must delete personal search results when personal rights are violated. Meanwhile, Microsoft has tightened up, and offers for its search engine "Bing" is also a delete request:
- Open the website of Microsoft to the request to block Bing search results.
- Next, you need to specify your full name as well as your residence. This must be in Germany or in another EU member state.
- In the next step, you need to identify: Upload a document (e.g. a picture of your passport), your name and your residence will emerge. All other information you should obscure.
- In step 2, you must exclude that you are a Person of public life or leadership or confidence-role exercise. The background is that Microsoft balances between the protection of privacy and the public interest in free expression and the free availability of information. - Finally you confirm all details with your name (the "Sigantur").
Bing: Links deleted
Links Bing removed: to Lock or delete?
Microsoft only offers to lock the Links at Bing. Completely the Links are not deleted. The group also announced, will be tested in the delete-requests in the case of a Change in the legal situation and the left the back unlocked.
