1and1: the set up phone

Your phone at 1and1 set up, only a few hand grips. In this practical tip we will show you how you exactly need to do.

Phone at 1and1 set up – so go ahead

Connect the phone to your Router. You can use a "FON" or "phone"connector directly to the Router.
Open your Browser and enter "fritz.box" in the address bar. Confirm with [Enter].
You should have a password set, log in now. If you have not already set a password, the default password in your documents or on the back of your router.
You can switch in the setting "telephony" and then "telephony devices".
Click on the Button "configure New device" and select in the next step, the option "telephone (with or without answering machine)". Confirm with "Next".
You will then need to select which port the phone is connected. In addition, you can assign a name for the phone. With "More" be taken on the information.
To test whether all the details were correct, should be ringing your phone now. This is the case, click "Yes". If not, you need to select "no" to a different port.
Finally, set the phone to be used for all calls. Select accept to "all calls" and save with "Continue". In the next step, check the details and "Apply" to finish the setup.
