The cancellation page of 1&1
First of all, it is certainly interesting to note that you can cancel your website at the Internet provider 1&1 immediately, if you want to. However, and this is important, you will not be refunded the amount already paid in the case back. Otherwise, it is relatively easy to cancel your 1&1 Homepage.
- Call the contract service of the Internet provider and log in with your access data.
- Then select in the menu bar, the second Option, "termination".
- In the "notice" menu you have the choice between terminating the contract and the termination of individual Domains. You have already been terminated and, think about it, but in a different way, you can make the termination of a reverse or a change of tariff making.
- To delete a specific Homepage, select the appropriate Domain. If your entire Webspace incl. of all Domains that want to cancel, select the contract termination.
- After you have entered the appropriate domain name, you can choose between three different termination types.
1&1 contract service

- You may terminate your website with immediate effect and the domain name is again available.
- You may terminate your Homepage at the end of the term of the contract. However, this Option is not for Domains with the extension, but only for so-called generic Top-Level-Domains with the following extensions: com, net, info, org, name, biz.
- You may terminate your website with 1&1, taking you to another Provider.
- The confirmation of your cancellation will be sent to you subsequently via e-Mail.
